１９９８年１１月１９日の明け方標高１９００メートルの鉢伏山でしし座流星群を撮影していた。一度霧が出て星空が隠れてしまいあきらめかけたが、再び満天の星空が広がった。一分３０秒の露光時間のあいだに１３個の流星が数えられる。
